The film shows the three theories trying to explain the death or disappearance of Subhash Chandra Bose. The film starts with Subhash Chandra Bose at the Congress Conference. A courageous Subhash disagrees. A very well researched docu-drama movie that soars off wonderfully, flies smoothly but lands hastily with a jarring note. Based on the Mukherjee Commission investigation into the mystery of Netaji's death and the theories suggested around it, the movie shows the historical events in flashback as the two counsels in the Commission argue about them. The propounder of the Gumnaami theory is Chandrachur Dhar (Anirban Bhattacharya) who puts forward his arguments before the commission with evidence.
